Omeyer Fine Jewels was founded in 2019 by Michel and Rachel Omeyer. With more than thirty years experience in high jewellery retail and the international auction market, Michel and Rachel are in a truly unique position to be able to give their clients the benefit of their experience of both of these exclusive worlds.
Specialising in private commissions, Michel sources beautiful gems for his clients, collaborating with them to create exceptional jewels. To each commission, he brings his in-depth knowledge of high jewellery and the exacting standards of the world’s most prestigious Maisons, always striving to exceed client expectations. As an independent agent and advisor, Rachel provides her clients with an unparalleled service, whether acquiring antique and rare jewels for a growing collection or helping clients achieve the maximum when selling pieces they no longer require.
About Us
Following in the footsteps of his father Gerard, Michel began his career at Boucheron in Cannes and Monaco. Over the next fifteen years, Michel worked for Van Cleef & Arpels Place Vendome, Harry Winston Bond Street and Christie’s, where he was Head of Jewellery Private Sales for the Middle East. Rachel started her career in 2006 at Christie’s Auction House. After a period working for world-renowned antique jewellers S.J. Phillips, and then for a global jewellery trader, she returned to Christie’s where she remained for nearly ten years, participating in the sales of some of the world’s most important jewels such as the collections of Elizabeth Taylor and HRH Princess Margaret. Over their careers, Rachel and Michel have acquired a deep knowledge of the global jewellery market and built strong relationships with the most important members of the global trade.
Sourcing
Michel and Rachel are passionate about what they do, with every meeting and new commission they are filled with energy and excitement to not only find the jewel or gem a client is searching for but to exceed their expectations in every way. Their enthusiasm is infectious and the process of finding, buying or creating a jewel should be a pleasure and thrill for any client. Michel and Rachel often fly wherever necessary to find the jewel or gem a client is searching for, our network of global partners means that whether a stone is in New York, Hong Kong, Israel, Paris or London we are in a unique position to be able to source globally, not just from one or two contacts, but across the world, to truly find the best, at the best price.
Atelier
We work closely with two ateliers, one in Mayfair and one in Paris. Each has a unique approach and skill-set to produce exceptional jewels of the highest quality. We also collaborate with a small stable of artists who are able to bring our clients designs to life in gouache in the most extraordinary detail; through each step of the process our clients are able to enjoy seeing their jewels come to life.

Michel and Rachel are delighted to meet clients in person and discuss their needs, from sourcing an Art Deco dress-set for a party that very night, or finding an important Kashmir sapphire to add to a growing collection. They take pride in the bespoke and highly personal service they provide to clients both established and new, always acting with absolute trust and discretion, and always striving to ensure their clients are thrilled with the results they achieve.
